What People Feel
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Oyster Cake flavor is good Steam Garlic Crab - they put soy sauce it should be garlic only. But still good Sweet chili crab and salted egg crab is really good! Seamantis and shrimp is perfectly cooked"
"Everything was cooked very well and was very delicious. There are many variations to cook your food, you just have to pick and it will come out as you like it. Service was a bit slow considering there were only a few customers and our food came out slowly but we enjoyed it all."
"I never ate but the food I saw looked amazing and plentiful. We just came for a few drinks and listened to the seascapes band. The service was good but you could see they wanted us to dine as well which was fair enough. Once it got busy we drank up and moved on to free up the table. It was a great location and we will make a point of coming back again soon"
"mostly decently cooked food. i didn't really enjoy their thermador for my lobster though. maybe it was the cheese they used or the fact that they added tomatoes or bell peppers in the mix while baking that i didn't enjoy much. besides that, everything else was decent! we hot really big shrimps and they cooked it well as tempura. they also have tempura sauce. their rice was good too. they also have a really yummy mango shake! there was a bit of a problem with the orders though. somehow some of our orders were never taken down and it happened to a other customers too so they had to wait a very long time or just ended up canceling their orders. we had to cancel one of our orders too. not sure why that was happening as it wasn't packed at the time. but our servers were very nice and attentive to our needs which was really nice for the experience. this restaurant also has an indoor and outdoor option to eat"
"Delicious tasting fruit drinks, with refreshing delightful mango being a must - Whether you are out of Towner, an overseas visitor, or just touring your own city, here is a delightful stop over or friendly place to catch up with friends."
"Love the food, atmosphere and service from the staff.. Kudos to all the staff"
""Dampa" style restaurant where you buy fresh seafood in the market outside and have it cooked here. The butter and garlic shrimp (pictured) was the star! Fantastic service - waiters were friendly and attentive. We also had them cook grilled squid, gambas and clam soup for us. Tasty stuff! Will definitely come back."
"Yang Mama is located in Dampa and is one of the best options if you want your seafood cooked on-site. Service – 5/5 Very attentive and friendly staff, always willing to accommodate any request. Atmosphere – 3/5 Better than the average restaurants in Dampa, but still fairly basic. The place looks a bit plain overall. Food – 4/5 • Crab with Garlic – 5/5 Perfectly cooked. Highly recommended and one of the best dishes to order here. • Suahe – 5/5 Consistently well cooked. Another dish I strongly recommend eating here. • Nylon Clams with Tausi – 4/5 Very good dish—spicy, flavorful, and well prepared. • Sizzling Pusit – 4/5 Not particularly remarkable, but still very enjoyable. A good option if you’re craving it. • Grilled Squid – 2.5/5 Disappointing. The squid was dry and cooled down quickly. This is the only dish I wouldn’t order again. Overall Rating – 4/5 Excellent service, good cooking, and an average interior, but still better than most competitors in the area."
